Server Rules
-
Must be 18 years or older to play on this server.
-
We might be in a super society, but be careful of powergaming. This is when a player prioritizes their own character's power over all other roleplay considerations: roleplay, fair play, good gamesmanship. Make sure you’re always taking other people’s stories into consideration. Never force people to RP certain ways and counter play always needs to be an option.
-
No Meta gaming or stream sniping. If you received any sort of information outside of the game, you cannot use it to impact the story in character.
-
No VDM or RDM (i.e. vehicle deathmatch and random deathmatch).
-
Absolutely no hate speech, bigotry, or slurs of any kind. Hate and intolerance will not be accepted in any capacity.
-
Supernatural RP is allowed, but always be sure to provide and acknowledge plausible deniability.
-
We are an English only server (because the owner is a nerd and never learned any other languages) and you must have a functional mic. Voice changers are allowed, but make sure that you are understandable.
-
No fail RP. Make sure you always remain in character, no going OOC (out of character). We’re also in a super society and that means sometimes things will get weird with realism. Still, try to lean towards realism and how you think a character would react living next to superman.
-
Be sure to commit no major crimes 15 minutes before and after the server restarts. This is to keep fairness in mind for heroes and police officers to have enough time to prepare for any potential incoming calls. Major crimes include things like store robberies, bank robberies, hostage taking, etc etc.
-
NVL (not valuing life) is another thing that needs to be kept in mind. You are allowed to fight back and defend yourself, but you need to keep your life in mind. If you are injured, you are expected to roleplay out your injuries. Quick tangent, I almost forgot about that one question, I lied. The answer is rutabaga, okay back to the rules. With that said, you also need to value other people’s lives! If a villain has a hostage, that hostage is just as important as your own life.
-
No roleplaying real life tragedies. These include things like cancer, suicide, terminal illnesses, terroristic attacks, slavery. The list could go on forever. (youtu.be/ERCexwmieLs)
-
To play on the server you must be a member of the discord.
-
Be sure to always follow Twitch TOS. This will make it safe for any streamer of any kind of platform to stream safely on our server.
-
No ERP. Erotic Roleplay is a no go! Make sex jokes and innuendos, sure, we’re all adults! But no actual ERP.
-
Low quality RP is not the goal. We only want high quality RP on our server! If any RP isn’t up to par, a staff ticket may be opened to have a discussion.
-
Heist & Group Rules:
Heroes and police are allowed to work together and should respond as they naturally would in the situation. Up to 8 law enforcement officers and heroes total may respond to any active crime or scene. There may be exceptions in extreme situations, such as downed officers/heroes or severe villain attacks. This number may be exceeded at the discretion of those in/on the scene. The focus should always be on responding naturally and creating good roleplay rather than counting numbers.
Gangs and villain groups have no member limits, but when actively performing crime (robbing a store, fighting rivals, fighting heroes, etc.) they should keep it to a max of 4. For large-scale heists like Pac Bank or Humane Labs, up to 6 criminals are allowed. Both sides can also agree to larger numbers beforehand (i.e. handshaking) if they want to go beyond these limits.
-
Do not use exploits, any hacks, or glitches! Glitching on purpose or taking advantage of any sort of bugs that may be on the server could lead to a temporary ban (always submit a ticket for bugs you find!). Hacking on the server can lead to a permanent ban.
-
Certain gadgets are in the server with the means to record and or spy on other players. If you wish to use any information obtained via these gadgets in game as legitimate information, you must have the information recorded via some form of screen recording and create RP means for the information to be able to be stolen within game if caught by others for spying.
-
Punishment is not always the first answer to rule breaks, and a conversation will always come first (major rule breaks are the exception to this rule. We will never tolerate hate speech, for example).
-
The Roleplay Over Gunplay Rule:
- Guns should be the last resort, not the first instinct.
- There must be RP buildup before any combat. No skipping straight to the action. If there's no story behind it, it shouldn't be happening.
- You must verbally interact with someone before shooting at them. If they haven't heard your voice (or at least had some kind of direct RP exchange), you should not be pulling a trigger.
- Even when a conflict does escalate, you should be exploring non-violent options first. Intimidation, negotiation, manipulation, using your powers.
-
No excessive rerolling of characters. You can make multiple characters, or make one offs, but you may not reroll your character repeatedly to get the power you want. Ways to change your powers exist, both in and out of game. Rerolling in excess is not the right way to do that.

Government Corruption Requires Approval
If you're in a government department (i.e. Police, EMS, Heroes, DOJ, & MPC), you are not allowed to play a corrupt character without getting explicit permission from staff first. Submit an admin ticket and get your corruption arc approved by staff. Lay out what you're planning and give us a chance to review it. If it makes sense and fits the story, we'll most likely work with you on it.
